Reminds me of a short story I read, once....

First they came for the airlines, but I don’t fly, so...I said nothing.

Next, they came for the schools, but...I don’t have school aged children, so I said nothing.

Then, they came for the apartment owners, gas stations and grocery stores....and, this affected me, but there was no one left to help me fight the tyranny, so...I had to submit and obey.

Or, something like that. It’s been a while. I can’t remember the exact words.
