When Drudge asked for depositions, inclding detailed info about goings on in the Clinton White House,
they quickly dropped the case.

I would like to think this is all about justice. I am long over that. But, discovery on the other hand is a financial gold mine for the legal profession. No judge would cut into an attorney's right to collect billable hours.
