Most of the nation’s COVID-19 deaths could have been prevented, Dr. Deborah Birx contends in a new documentary.
Birx, who headed the coronavirus task force under former President Trump, said of the approximately 100,000 deaths that came from the initial surge of the virus, “we have an excuse.”
“All of the rest of them in my mind could have been mitigated or decreased substantially,” says in a clip from the documentary posted on the CNN site. The documentary is set to air Sunday.

The article says she’s blaming states and cities.

Yeah. By using the prophylactic treatment regimen of Hdroxyclhoroquine, Zinc and Zithromax that was suggested early on.
Not as good as Regeneron and maybe Ivermectin but better then nothing.
Instead, an insane hissing campaign was started against this concept since Donald Trump mentioned it as a possibility.
And people died. And Debbie Do-Right stood by, mute, because she really isn’t much of a Doc. Better at schoolgirl politics.
Cheap drugs would’ve prevented all this needless nonsense.
Ivermectin, Hydroxychloride , and other readily available, tested pharmaceuticals, were buried behind bureaucracy.

When governor Kate Brown(D) of Oregon heard that hydroxichloroquin was a possible therapy,,, she outlawed it.
Our doctors know nothing. COVID-19 is turning out to be like Smallpox. Or influeza. Fortunately, we have medical technology on our side (that’s a negative as well, especially if this virus came out from Wuhan lab).
