Unfortunately, a lot of times, parents continue to treat us like we’re still children, even though we may be drawing Social Security :(
My dad wouldn’t listen when we all begged him to get a Life-Alert since he was in his mid-90’s and lived alone. We offered to buy it, pay the monthly charge, etc. He would just say “If the Army Air Corp wanted me to have one, they would have issued me one.”
He was fine for a couple of years, then he wasn’t and it was too late.
If he were still alive, he would take the “vaccine” too.
