Had lunch with my mom and her best friend today, both in their 80s. My mom won't take the jab. Her friend was forced into taking it because her spine pain doctor refused to see her without it. SMH. I'd find another doctor, pronto.

I feel bad for your mom’s friend. You get to refuse anything you want. Don’t want a bandaid, you don’t have to have one. Sometimes, I say.. “not getting on that scale today.”
I have a stupid thyroid disease and I have been dismissed by so many doctors, I won’t take their s#*t anymore. I will get up and walk out and on my way out, ask for my money back. I pay a copay. I don’t get it, but it feels good. I know more about my disease than most doctors.
I know my dad wasn’t being truthful when he said he was pressured by his VA doc. I’ve been thrown under the bus by him a few times in my life.. so I can just tell by his voice. He was more than likely pressured by my sister or his wife.
Oh, I’m still a little bitter lol! Working on it...
