Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has fired almost all members of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) — the latest sign by the agency of its intention to move away from the practices of the prior administration.
Mayorkas, in a letter sent Friday and obtained by Politico, told the committee that he is ending the terms of the 32 current members, and intends to “reconstitute” the council once a “new model” has been developed.

HSAC was set up for members, who are unpaid, to use their experience and expertise of Homeland Security issues like counterterrorism and immigration enforcement to offer guidance to the secretary.
Its current membership included Trump-era officials such as former Deputy DHS Secretary Ken Cuccinelli and former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan — but include those appointed by secretaries by both Democratic and Republican administrations.
Mayorkas said that Chairman William Bratton, Vice Chair Karen Tandy and Chair Emeritus William Webster will remain in their positions to help the council move forward.

I came out of a public health facility a few weeks ago where they were also giving COVID vaccinations. An attendant at the exit shoved two packs of masks at me. I refused them but they insisted. I was in a hurry and did not argue. When I got home I noticed the masks were the surgical masks that just about everyone is wearing.
On the upper corner of the packets was printed NOT FOR MEDICAL USE Doesn't that about say it all?! Even the govt that mandates wearing masks doesn't take it seriously!
I threw them out.

The page I always check is the same link you posted; I posted a twtter from March 13 as well. I just can’t find any recent twtts with water or watch the water, other than a sunrise in Mar A Lago some days ago, and a March 13 clip of a carrier.

Yep! I am now $2,000 behind - after I got a notice of a direct deposit on the 2nd stim check due last year - still has not arrived. I saw the story about how the Trump Soc Sec folk failed to forward info to the IRS... Seems fishy. The IRS has my bank routing info, doesn't need it from Soc Sec.
Something is definitely going on, me thinks. I had to pay HR Block $99 to electronically file for the $600 that everyone else got for free, as per IRS instructions... still no guarantee that I will ever receive the $600! ...Or the $1,400!
