Bill - we’re going to need a bigger plane.
If he is only talking 100 planes I don’t think we have much to worry about. Even if it goes on “forever” that dust won’t stay in the air forever. (Maybe if they get it WAY up there it will???)
Mount Saint Helens emitted about 540 million tons of ash into the air. It was bad to be downwind, but I don’t think there was any change in the climate.
I see where a 747 cargo plane can carry 125 tons of stuff. That would be over 4.3 million flights!
I want to see Gates show his math on the loss of power produced by solar panels if this idea was put in action. How much nat gas, coal and nuclear power would be required to replace the lost solar energy?
Also, would winds decrease as a result of this action? Would hurricanes and cyclones increase or decrease? What about lightning and thunderstorms? Rainfall and snow amounts? Floods or droughts? Would we have to take more Vitamin D?
So many questions arise...
