Sounds a lot like a heat rash, lj. A stand in for my doctor made the same mistake once with me. Shingles is accompanied by excruciating pain - because the Herpes Zoster virus is embedded in the myelin sheath of the nerve fibers. I don't think I have ever encountered a mild case of shingles.
In my case I knew the Dr was wrong because I know that I am immune to the Herpes Zoster virus.
I don’t know...doctor said “shingles”. Not a heat rash, was cold, never had a heat rash before, these were discrete raised bumps, sort of scabby, and itchy like hades, veering into a bit’o’pain. Over half of torso, all at once. I might have had some accompanying other mild sympts but can’t remember.
