well it did break on the right this morning and why the flow out the right side increased as it did.

There's been a hole in the side for a little while but it's still attached at the top.

Even now you can see it's attached but lava flows over it from time to time.

The hole's getting bigger and I expect that top section will break at some point. But then again, every time lava splashes over that top strip, it adds a little more lava to it as it cools. It'll be interesting to see what happens there.
