I was at a private dinner with a well-known former Secretary of Defense and in a private conversation with him I asked if UFO’s did indeed exist. He basically evaded answering the question.
I shared the conversation with a friend who also attended and his reply was “you got your answer”.
That’s the kind of answer (non-answer) that Jim Mattis offers, at least to plebes like me.
