Two men have been charged with the murder of a Florida high school student, who was shot dead for three pairs of 'Yeezy'-style Adidas trainers.
Adrian Cosby and George Walton, both 19, were arrested on Sunday for killing Andrea Camps Lacayo, 18.
Police say Ms Camps and her boyfriend had arranged to meet the suspects last week to sell three pairs of shoes for $935 (£747) when she was shot.
The victim, who was in her last year of high school, died later in hospital.

There’s a huge sneaker market out there where custom and limited edition sneakers bring in hundreds or thousands of dollars. It’s like the Beanie Baby fad on steroids.
These two are killers ... period.
The trials of today are NOT to determine guilt anymore, but to lay groundwork for the lesser sentence.

Back in MY day, when you were a stupid kid and got popped for something stupid, you fell down the steps on the way to the station or jail cell.
The nonchalant attitude of the cops, maybe even laughingly criticizing you for your clumsiness, was enough to teach a smart but stupid kid ... "Maybe I should change my behavior?"

I remember 20+ years ago after my son got his PhD and first really good, high paying job. I told him to make as much money as fast as he could, hide the money, move to Australia. He said why Australia? I said, they don't hate White people there yet.
BTW, he's become a multimillion dealing in real estate outside of his corporate physicist job in LA.

CNN and the NY Daily News are the only major US outlets to cover it, and CNN omits the picture of the girl, while NYDN omits the picture of the two savage moronic subhumans. Neither one mentions the races involved hoping you don’t realize it’s black on White crime.
Most likely all three are ill-educated idiots and equally culpable.

Maybe I’m showing my age but didn’t cities set up safe places where people could do transactions like this without getting robbed? Remember the “Craigslist Killer? Many locales set up patrolled places to prevent crimes like this. Do they not do that anymore?

That’s a fair observation. And I would add the media to your list. As everyone knows, they are no longer neutral. That will only get worse over time.

Some folks buy multiple pairs of designer shoes when they first come out, then wait for the price to appreciate. That might be the case here.

This has happened before. There was an epidemic of people being robbed of designer clothes or shoes back in the 90s.
Why anyone would pay those prices for that clothing is beyond me.

Again, were these her shoes to sell or were they stolen property that she was trying to sell? In other words, where is this criminal on criminal violence, or criminal on victim violence?
