The comic book industry is already dead.

The entire industry combined (DC, Marvel, etc...) makes less money than ONE superhero movie.

Disney (Marvel) and Warner (DC) are not in it to make money off books anymore, because there isn’t any money to make.

To Disney, Marvel comic books is like Spaceship Earth at Epcot (the big silver ball). The keep it around for nostalgia purposes, not because it’s a main attraction anymore.

I love Spaceship Earth, but then again I am an old fart. It'll be a sad, sad day when they revamp that ride into a Climate Change/Green Earth sort of thing.
