Why are OH and TX being so aggressive? is this the pattern with other more red states? just wondering...maybe being paranoid

I'm guessing that in OH and TX a lot more of the older people rejected the vaccine than in, say, IL and PA. Hence, they're dumping it on younger folks.

Ohio
Doses distributed to state: 5,173,835
Doses administered: 3,928,456
Percentage of distributed vaccines that have been administered: 75.93

Illinois
Doses distributed to state: 5,664,615
Doses administered: 4,469,795
Percentage of distributed vaccines that have been administered: 78.91

Doses distributed to state: 5,860,715
Doses administered: 4,491,125
Percentage of distributed vaccines that have been administered: 76.63
