LJ, I don't now if you're a fan of the writings of JRR Tolkien, but your posts bring to mind Galadriel's gift to Frodo:

"May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out."

I am a huge Tolkien fan. I first read LOTR as a young teenager and my sister and I learned runes and made maps. I wanted to live there. Maybe I should read them another time. I can’t stand news.

I was recently thinking of the statment in LOTR and I think it was Galadriel (I am not a scholar like you or Bob Ireland) which said “we are on a knife edge”.
