When an Army becomes political, its not the people’s Army, they become part of the Party, and most of us know what that means. It becomes round up time and one way train ride to the end of the line. Politicians are in for the power it gives them, and all the perks that go with it. They will do anything to retain it, even if it means demanding your complete obedience by force or trickery. At the rate we are going we will soon have a military that takes an oath to protect its leader and party. Its been done before, and most know what that lead to.
