Here is another question that will surely make me look like a nimrod. :-)
Is it known for sure who was actually in the motorcade? Something just seems "off" about the whole thing, even beyond the two helos' strange activity.
I'm sure there will probably be stories on various other sites soon, stating that either (1) Pres. Trump flew to D.C. incognito and it was actually him in the motorcade; or that (2) BiteOne was transported to the Pentagon for detention and military tribunal. Would be wild if either one of those turned out to be true.
Short answer: no. The windows are all blacked out.
I don’t know about the H-3s. That seemed really weird to me & I cannot explain it.
As far as anything at the Pentagon, there is not a detention facility. Plus, and this is just personal opinion, anyone up for a tribunal has already gone thru the preliminaries at least - so no need for a “Pentagon” tribunal. Those would be held some other location. The Pentagon certainly isn’t equipped for that. It’s bureaucratic, not judicial. Gitmo is judicial.
But bear this in mind, as they circle the Washington Monument there are three course to take. One goes south toward the Pentagon, one goes east toward the Capitol, and one west toward Georgetown. The poster asked where could they be headed. I opined the Pentagon, and I’m probably correct. No need to bypass Pennsylvania Ave to go to the Capitol, nor Constitution to go toward Georgetown.
The whole episode remains weird to me. The real POTUS does not need to come to DC itself to maintain control. That can be accomplished from really anywhere.
