one of many examples was the USS_Fitzgerald_and_MV_ACX_Crystal_collision
The Navy had plans to do away with all electronic navigational systems. They ended up with a third party program I believe that created an electronic fire wall against hacking their system. This was affecting planes or anything that uses satellites for navigation.
