I presume the Daily Beast got that info from reading through the case records. I'm not sure how to find legal records like this for free, but I presume they exist.

Courtlistener.com is a pay site, but it has some documents free. Maybe a library or if the Maryland courts have a public LexisNexis access could help. I haven't tried searching Maryland newspapers or anything like that.

United States v. White (1:16-cr-00172)
Docket
Information - Felony
The felony charges, signed by Rosenstein.
Plea Agreement
The plea bargain, signed by his attorney.

White tried to have his conviction overturned, claiming his lawyer was incompetent and the police violated attorney client privelege. It was rejected.
Justia: Ryan White v. US, No. 17-6750 (4th Cir. 2017)
govinfo.gov: 17-1355 - White v. United States of America et al
Findacase (pay): White v. United States of America Attorney General

This isn't much, maybe you can use it as a starting point. If you can find better sources of info, please post.

Thanks. And since I learned on this thread yesterday that RDW claimed he was framed, then there definitely was a conviction, which then led to his second arrest, of illegal firearms possession.
