Had my second Pfizer on Tuesday afternoon. Woke up at 4am with massive chills, sweating, dizziness and pronounced fever. Was not able to get out of bed Wednesday without my husband holding me up. Slept most of the day, actually. couldn’t stay awake, no appetite. Thursday a little better, did a few house things but fatigued by noon, slept most of the afternoon. Friday, felt decent but this morning I woke up with racing heart and sweating, now just tired. So it has been four days and still have some issues, I have read side effects only last for 1-2 days, so if not better by Monday will go to doctor.
I think the 1 to 2 days is average. Some folks might take longer. Our pharmacist had to bet the shots and said she was wholloped by the second d one for several days, and she is a young healthy person, while some elderly person bets it and has no real side effects. It’s a crap shoot as to how the body will react.
I e read that folks with type o blood have less severe covid for some reason, while folks with other type blood suffer more supposedly. IF true, I wonder if that is why some folks just breeze through flus and colds, while others real.y suffer terrible, and why some can take every med under the sun and not have issues, while other folks take a baby aspirin or some typical meds and have all kinds of reactions. Had a relative who couldn’t take hardly anything without their neck swelling up, hives, trouble breathing. It was weird
That’s scary, Toespi. Have you called your doctor? I would not wait if I were you.
Hope you feel better soon.
Like you, I get terrible reactions from vaccinations, so just do not get them. My son and friends and neighbors are pushing hard, and I may get the J&J one-shot.
