The Q movement is a useful tool that the so-called deep state uses to paint the right as nuts and to justify cracking down on personal freedoms*. You are right that they don’t view Q followers as a real threat to their power, but the risk of some Q followers becoming radicalized and doing something stupid was real and something they probably wanted to happen as it helped the narrative. (*Note: I don’t think it started out that way. It began as a silly LARP that at some point was taken over by some legitimately sketchy people.)

The entire derp machine chose to largely ignore the Q movement for the first couple of years, hoping it would go away. As it grew across the world, they had to change strategies.

Their current one is very effective, turning even so-called 'Trump conservatives' against each other and the only movement that can save the country, if not the world.

And our own people, turning against Trump and his Q program, are proud of themselves, like as if they figured something out in their wisdom.

I pointed this out from the very beginning of Q on this site. If Q was real, at various times claimed to be Trump, sourced to Trump's office with his approval & knowledge, Military Intel, etc. they would be in violation of numerous ethics policies, legal/security laws & policies. When I pointed this out it was dismissed with a wave of the hand saying “Trump is President he can do it ! He heads the executive branch !’ Yes he was President and at the top of he executive branch but he wasn't king ! And as the Trump administration played out we saw how responsive the executive branch was to Trump. Also when this started there was a crack down in the White House on leaks ! Then the claim was they're “authorized leaks” something which has the official legal legitimacy of being “slightly pregnant”. Yes politicians “leak” all the time but its not ethical or legal. The government usually does little about it. If the government does the “leaker” is on the wrong side of the “power’ or a very low level flunky like Reality Winter (I don't care to look up her real name!). Another thing that was going on that made this all highly highly unlikely was the Mueller investigation. If there was the slightest tenuous tie back to Trump, Mueller would have used it. Look what he did use! It was more laughable then Q ! Q supporters also dismissed the Mueller threat by claiming they are practicing INFOSEC, are cryptographically secure hence the Delphic-like Q utterances, hiding in the weeds etc. Remember this is from people who think the Intel community, etc is all powerful. If the IC was tasked to do it, “Q codes” would have been cracked in nanoseconds, locations of “Q” & if necessary supporting servers & web sites would have been found and issued a cease & desist or simply shut down ! Why didn't that happen because no one cared ! The only reason the USG cares now is because to the Biden administration its a useful bogeyman to hyperventilate about.

In summary, Q was likely a LARP that was taken over by some unsrcuplous people who monetized it. They taped into and took advantage of the great unrest & unease loyal Americans have about our current political culture. Trump became and now is the visible symbol of that unease but he didn't start it. It originally came together with the Tea Party movement which had no visible leader which was both a weakness & a strength. Weakness because its kind of directionless particulalry in regard to what are the first steps toward restoration. Strength because during Tea Party no leader for the enemay to focus on. Trump came along and provided a focal point for things to initiate in the right direction but he also became a target and we now see the results.

Anyway the war isn't over this is just one battle or campaign.
