17 minute drum rendition of In-A-Gadda-Davida by a young lady named Sina.........
Yep! We were both rescued from it at 28.
You and I belong to the “28 Club”! :-)
But for the RIGHT Reason.
There is another young lady who does similar work on youtube mostly playing keyboards. It’s amazing because she is blind.
She is s big fan of ELP.

I LOVE Van Morrison.
Thank You For That!
Hey, lets sit at home alone on the computer and piss and moan about what someone posted on Free Republic and consider that a worth while contribution to the thread........
Sober up loser........Sheesh!
Sina beats drums like they owe her back rent! And she covers most classic rock songs as well as the originals. This one is her best IMHO because the vocalist and other players are also excellent, and as she always does, they stay true to the original.
Check out the ones with her sister “helping out”...very cute.
Iron Buttefly.
So funny. How can a Butterfly be iron? It’s too heavy to fly.
It’s like if a blimp were made of lead. So funny.
Enjoy
How stupid can anyone be to actually make that comparison?.........It must have sucked being around you.......Sheesh!
Used to be a time when jerks like you would summarily be disposed of. Unfortunately those days are gone and assholes like you are now allowed to roam around here........
Nice article!
May I add that when Van lived in Cambridge, MA, a musical friend of mine (John Payne) played sax and flute with him on Astral Weeks and hard nose on the Highway. “Into The Mystic” came later, but there is no denying that the two rivers that flow by Cambridge, MA are the famous Charles River and the not-so-famous Mystic River. So, whether Van meant it or not, I always envision the Mystic River when I hear the song.
Also, when I played at The Chelsea Soldiers Home or at various gigs in Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, Malden, Medford, or Cambridge, I would always include “Into The Mystic” as a personal tribute to Van Morrison. It is now a staple for all the bar bands and Gig-Groups in Boston and its surroundings.
Thanks for sharing that article!
I’ve seen Sina a couple times, but this is the first time I’ve seen Tina: She is a phenomenal guitarist.
“Astral Weeks” is one of the greatest albums of all time. Several years after that album came out, I noticed a young woman sitting across from me. The first thing that popped into my mind was “Sweet Thing.” A year later, we were married.
That is an awesome memory!
:-)
Whenever I hear “Sweet Thing” I break out in a big smile.
I think that many people in our “age-bracket” have a special Van song and wonderful story to go with it.
He has been so much a part of our lives!
Tina S is quite private and circulates through a group of particularly talented European musicians taking a lot of direction from her guitar instructor. He produces her videos.
