I’ve been subscribed to her channel for some time. She’s an amazing drummer.

So you found Sina.
She is one of the few reasons that America did right in saving Germany from the Commies.

Saw them do
Inagaddadavida live ~'67 in LA's Shrine Exposition Hall, abutting the Shrine Auditorium where they've held the Oscars several times. There were no seats, just a wooden floor; when you sat on it, you literally
felt the bass and drums. Very enjoyable. (That's also where I ruined my hearing standing right next to Eric Clapton's 8' speaker when
Cream headlined.)
Saw all the great bands there--ten-minute walk north from my dorm at USC. Still remember listening to my friend's radio while walking over there and hearing Good Vibrations for the first time--one of those events where you remember where you were.

In Boston, it was a dive called “The Tea Party”. I saw led Zeppelin there as the OPENING ACT for the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. I also saw Zappa five times, Santana, Ten Years After, etc.
Years later, I became part of a DIFFERENT “Tea Party” and consider it a more valuable lifetime experience.

It’s not a drum solo, just the girl playing drums for the 17 minute song. As far as long drum solos, you can’t handle that stuff on strong acid (per Slater, Dazed & Confused).

yep, this particular cover is what has immortalized IN A GADDA DA VIDA...

Hey! Let’s imitate boring stupid interminable songs from 50 years ago!
That’s what to do in the third decade of the 21st century.

It’s not in my hymnal, so I guess I will have to print it out for the congregation.
(BTW, I sent the link to everybody on the worship team. Maybe NEXT Sunday!)

One of the times I saw Zappa was at the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, a very intimate theater-in-the -round with a revolving stage. There were no lasers, no smoke, no special lighting, just AMAZING music.

There is another talented young European musician that fits this thread, she is French Guitarist Tina S.
On Oct 30, 2015, Sina published her cover of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", and separately, on Feb 5, 2016, Tina S published her cover of the same performance.
Both women are such masters of their crafts that the two videos could be edited together to produce a duet that was never actually performed.
It is excellent and here it is: Tina S and Sina - The Trooper [Iron Maiden] cover
Tina S hasn't been publishing for about four years now, most people suspect she is at University somewhere in France.
