A shocking discovery out of a Baltimore City high school, where Project Baltimore has found hundreds of students are failing. It’s a school where a student who passed three classes in four years, ranks near the top half of his class with a 0.13 grade point average.
Tiffany France thought her son would receive his diploma this coming June. But after four years of high school, France just learned, her 17-year-old must start over. He’s been moved back to ninth grade.
“He’s stressed and I am too. I told him I’m probably going to start crying. I don’t know what to do for him,” France told Project Baltimore. “Why would he do three more years in school? He didn’t fail, the school failed him. The school failed at their job. They failed. They failed, that’s the problem here. They failed. They failed. He didn’t deserve that.”
France’s son attends Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts in west Baltimore. His transcripts show he’s passed just three classes in four years, earning 2.5 credits, placing him in ninth grade. But France says she didn’t know that until February. She has three children and works three jobs. She thought her oldest son was doing well because even though he failed most of his classes, he was being promoted. His transcripts show he failed Spanish I and Algebra I but was promoted to Spanish II and Algebra II. He also failed English II but was passed on to English III.
This is a public school, which means the teachers there belong to the same unions currently issuing endless demands about money and reopening schools.

How did he pass from one grade to the next?
Teacher’s Union...making top $...doing everything possible to lead the way in the dumbing down of America.

We passed idiocracy a long time...We are now neck deep into insanity.
Clearly the result of systemic racism. We need to shower him with reparations and design a new grading system to assure equal outcomes for all students of color.
This is the future of America, if the Democrats continue to hold power. Your children will live in this world.
Many students won't have the math background for a skilled trade, and certainly will not have the skills to enter a computer science or engineering program. Until the student takes "ownership" of their situation and does the work, the taxpayers' funding is being squandered.
Like it our not, there is competition for good jobs. The current trend of "ghosting" - not showing up for work and having the common decency to resign - means that HR departments will need work agreement documents that make expectations for continued promotion contingent upon written standards agreed upon by both employer and employee.
I wonder how many PTA meetings she attended.

A black radio host in Baltimore said this:
“Republicans must make education a priority issue from now on and prove there is a better way to teach our nation’s children.”
Last I checked, Baltimore is a Democrat run city. The school board is predominantly black and Democrat. So how is this the fault of Republicans.

Can’t get a job? Hell, he’s in the top half of his class making him an OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR. He lives in the Baltimore-Washington corridor which is the home of many Headquarters of Federal Agencies each loaded with many thousands of NON-DEMANDING BUT HIGHLY COMPENSATED POSITIONS. Affirmative action awaits him. He’ll live large as a parasite feeding off the productivity of our national economy.

Why is this a surprise? When you’re a student at a big city public high school you’re rated in the top half of your class when you can read at a 2nd Grade level. Most of your classmates read at a 1st Grade level.
She works 3 jobs..I;ll bet not many...She could have seen it at home..Looked at his homework or talked to a teacher once in awhile...

We had to bring back signed report cards each quarter. I remember riding the bus going home with second quarter report cards. One kid said he blamed football to his parent for the poor first quarter results, For the poor second quarter results, he was going with, “I guess I’ll tell them I’m a dumb S***”,
Their job is to turn out morons for the dem party... That’s why dems want blacks and Hispanics to go to advanced classes..Need to destroy those, too....
