Some Hanna Barbera characters got together and did a take on Birds called Yogi’s Ark once. I’m sure that Bonanza once did one of the Lysistrata. Hoss and Little Joe get stuck in the middle of a range war, and they get the women to go on strike to make peace in the town, without spelling out exactly what it was they were on strike with. Birds was such a success that Kleon, normally Aristophanes’ enemy, had him put on a public repeat performance of the play, unconnected to the Dionysian festival.
