The virus is not alive. Mutation is not a process of life.
Mutation is a process of statistics. This is very bad.
There are so very many virus particles out there, compared to last year, that the statistics of mutation are beginning to guarantee worse infectiousness and worse death.
It is not alive. This is not a virus that becomes more deadly or not more deadly just because a person lives longer or shorter. It’s not optimizing. It’s not a life process.
It’s just that there are so many that we are going to see these happen, and it’s likely going to get worse. Not because it wants to get worse. Because the strains that are mild won’t be noticed. The ones that are worse will be.
We lost 20% more elderly deaths in the past 12 mos to the virus compared to a normal year. Ask your parents how they feel about that. And that 20% happened even trying all sorts of things to lessen the number.
