Because they achieved their objective. They made Trump voters look so weird and dangerous that the left was willing to put up with virtually anything as far as fraud went as long as it didn’t result in Trump as president.
QAnon didn’t energize Trump supporters—it titillated a few crackpots who latched onto this nonsense immediately. In fact, QAnon worked against Trump at every step.
