Dr. Seuss was inspired to write “The Lorax” because he was passionate about saving the trees in La Jolla, California. Now, his favorite tree there has fallen over, and officials say it is unclear what caused it.
Probably shockwaves caused by Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) spinning in his grave....

I like his books, I like the rhyming.. but some of them are political. I loved them as a kid but never read them as a kid thinking... “Oh I need to become a demonrat”.
Another minor thing in that vid, he didn’t live in the mountains.. the mountains of La Jolla? Maybe he had a home in Big Bear or Mammoth.
