I didn't see that, link? WinRed has generally supported campaigns of existing (RINO) office holders. Lately I see the rabble rousers - like Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene - using Anedot or some other fund raising support.
My local GOP candidate to oppose tyrant-in-waiting, Dem Val Demings of impeachment infamy, used Anedot; Venia Francois got little GOP support for her campaign despite my repeated urgings. What a great party, eh?
Anedot, was that not in the news as being crushed by the GOP or something?
A while back, I will have to dig.
As for a great party, it still works on the concepts and administrative thinking of thr 1800’s and Colonial misdirection of the time.
Now Our President has cut the funding cord to the GOP and has The SuperPac we and he are no longer funding the GOP, it shall now be those Individuals that PDJT certifies for elected positions. ;-)
How to run a Third Party without actually building the infrastructure , yet ;-)
As for the WinRed link, WinRed was setup as an internal PAC by the GOP for fund gathering. started 1998 99
It is still owned and run by the GOP.
