We were in Pompeii several years ago and, of course, there were numerous excavations taking place. This is truly amazing and exciting!

Um...if it has 4 wheels, isn’t it a wagon?
Just an awesome place...love Pompeii.

Judging by the artwork embossed on the thing, they may uncover the vanity license plate “psy-wgn”.

A 4-wheeled chariot would be a wagon, no?

what’s old is new again... it’s just a prototype for our future rides when the green new deal is fully implemented...

How do they know it was ‘ceremonial’?
It may have been hardly driven.
Owned by a little old lady from Herculaneum who only drove it to Saturnalia on Thursdays...........

It was driven by one of the posh residents of the area, maybe during ceremonies like triumphs. :^)

Looks like it had 4 wheels.
Maybe people paid to be taken for a ride.
To: Berlin_Freeper
Maybe it was a Pakistani Taxi driver’s chariot or an early version of Lyft or Uber.................
