Donald Trump’s non-interventionist foreign policy gave us four years of relative peace around the world. With one f**ked up bombing mission China Joe just made us a terrorist target! The political generals at the Pentagon and the defense industry are happy because the war machine just got cranked up again which means lots of $$$ for them. Meanwhile, they just riled up the hornet’s nest known as the Middle East for the umpteenth time!
The Syrian Civil War is over Putin/Assad won the bloodbath. This is like England and France invading Boston in 1866 to help the Confederacy. A dollar late. This is only a “wag the dog symbolism hoping to keep Americans enemies at bay. See, Biden is strong—he can blow up a shed in the desert! But what will he do when faced with a real crisis, against a real bad actor? Can he move on an increasingly aggressive Red China? a desperate Iran or even a repressive Cuba? I wonder.
This is just their practice until they turn their sights on flyover country, and start blowing up our sheds and folk.
