McConnell is a worm.
McConnell will decide what he will do in 2024 based on the politics at that time and his own goals at that time. Anything he is saying about 2024 today is just noise to placate the sheep.

Politically speaking, 2024 is a lifetime away. ANYTHING can happen between now and then (and it probably will.)
