Active core?
No magnetic field on either planet.
Lack of a magnetic field allows the solar wind to strip off the atmosphere of one of those planets.
The other planet has a very thick atmosphere.
Is it the planet furthest from the Sun, or the planet much closer that gets 4 times the solar wind flux?
Identify the planet, and explain why....
