From what I have read online and watched on yucktube the most logical approach I have found is

Stop range practice - save every round for defence, a new scope, three rounds should be enough to sight in, or use a laser fitted bore shell to sight.

Buy Any primers you can get - without primers and cart. cases you just have a metal stick - barter with primers your firearms do Not use in reloads.

Buy any Powder you can get - Barter powders you do not use in your firearms.

Cartridge cases, you may call them shells, but in fact an artillary or mortar cartridge is called a Shell, bullet casings are called Cartridges.

Buy any type of projectile you can get, - barter for what your reloads do not use.

Buy a hand loader with extra wearable attachments as well as a bench loader, the latter is if you have got a supply of the above to re manufacture rounds . - The hand loader is portable.

Do Not barter bulk rounds and never barter alone, watch for those who you cannot see, and watch for those who will setup buys as a ambush scenario.

Ammo and rifles and pistols out the backside, then you loose what you got. In storage buried in places around the yard at least you have something to come back to and restock.

If you have not mapped and walked your egress areas and looked seriously at how safe it would be to travel through those areas at night, or during the day, then that is Not good planning.

If you can get out by car, have you mapped a way to do it, old dirt side roads, old construction roads, service roads? Parks etc, list is long. Never travel during the day, never stand upright when resting or travelling if during daylight or moon lit nights. travel only during just before dawn and just after dusk, This will Not be a picnic.

Mountain bikes, the cheap ones, shall be the fastest and quietest egress and travel transport you shall ever have in a SHTF scenario.

Buy dimmable battery operated LED lights, RED, then turn off the lights and start teaching the family how to move about on all fours and to belly crawl, think I am joking ;-) you have not been reading the reply have you, lol.
