That "ball" is a tee marker, and it is about the size of a softball normally.
My son-in-law is a PGA pro and manages a golf course.
You might think those are tee markers, but they’re actually disguised antennas to pick up transmissions from space aliens.
When I worked a course in N. VA. one of the tasks was to relocate those every day (gives the grass a rest/recovery period). No one told me that on the 8th hole, overlooking our shop, that there was an area they were to never be set because people sliced balls down into our parking area. Of course the Boss’ new pickup truck ate one within an hour or so of me moving them... (Thank goodness it didn’t hit my 70-1/2 RS)
My original response was to Ymani Cricket's #134:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What it says to me. (Jack Nicklaus) Golden Bear = Gold + Bear market - Ball on the green - green on the screen - green screen - call ball - comeback"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That, of course, was before this non-golfer learned about things like spherical tee markers...
It's all good: once again, my fellow FReeQs taught me something new... :-)
