I no longer discuss the things spoken of here with my spouse (he of the eyerolls and baleful glares). Haven’t for some time.

But a couple days ago, out of the blue, he asks me, “So, what’s the deal with March 4th?” Could have knocked ME over with a feather.

I didn’t know what to say, so I stalled and answered his question with another one, “What do you mean?”

He said that there was “some Q guy” on a forum he frequents, who was talking about March 4th, and wanted to know what I thought.

I asked him if he knew that March 4th used to be Inauguration Day before it got changed to Jan. 20, and he said no, and asked “So what?”

I just shrugged. After a long pause, I told him I had heard that Trump International Hotel DC prices are really high around March 4th, for some reason. Like double what they ordinarily are.

He raised his eyebrows, and said nothing. We left it there.
