Someone suggested pinging you from the new thread to see if that helps.

TECHNICAL ISSUES

So far, six people have reported to me via email that they cannot post to the new thread.

I've pinged four of them to the new thread but haven't seen them surface yet.

Here's an idea to try - if you posted to the new thread yesterday, check your "MY COMMENTS" page and try posting to that initial post. Here's the comment I received:

"I could not reply to any posts on the thread. Had to reply to my IN post on the ‘my comments’ page."

Looking forward to welcoming all back to our threads ASAP.

Still down in the rescue bucket, and pulling hard on the rope... As of the last try a moment ago, I couldn’t reply to your post 261 or 264 from the thread itself, but WAS able to get the reply box from my ping page for the first time just now. Progress!

I was unable to say I was “IN” last night, so this is my first post here. I’m cautiously not stepping out of this bucket just yet, until I see if this changes anything on the thread... Thanks for the rescue attempt! :-)
