Kenya Kura (Japanese: 蔵 研也) is a Japanese eugenics supporter and pseudoscientist. He works as an assistant professor at the Foreign Language Department (formerly, he worked in the Faculty of Economics and Information Science) of the Gifu Shotoku Gakuen UniversityWikipedia in Japan.[1] In 1988 he graduated from University of TokyoWikipedia studying law, he claims to have a Ph.D. in economics.[2]
He is affiliated with the OpenPsych and Psych pseudojournals and has published papers promoting eugenics and pseudoscientific theories of race and IQ. He presented a paper at the London Conference on Intelligence in 2014 promoting pseudoscience.[3]
In April 2019, Kura co-wrote a paper in the Psych journal with Emil Kirkegaard on the intelligence of biracial children.[4]
Kura also sits on the Advisory Board for the controversial Mankind Quarterly.[5]
