The actual Ark was hidden by Josiah, the king of Judah during the siege of Jerusalem by Babylon in 587 B.C. (which took nearly a year). It is most certainly not in Ethiopia.
Josiah was not king during the babalonian siege. Jeconiah was, and he was an evil king.
I'm not saying it is the real Ark, but what you say is not proof it's not. Where it was in 587 B.C. wouldn't necessarily be where it stayed.
The LAST reference to the Ark was before the reign of Manasseh. He profaned the Holy of Holies with pagan idols.
The Ark was removed from the Temple by Levites to protect it.
There was a Jewish settlement dated to the time of Manasseh at Elephantine in Egypt. The Ark was taken there.
From there it went to an Island in Lake Tana in Ethiopia.
From there it went to Axum, the capital of the Axumite Empire and placed eventually in the Church of St. Mary of Zion after Ethiopia was Christianized.
There are Black Jews living in Ethiopia who practice a form of Judaism arrested in the Time of the First Temple. They are called Falashas.
It’s all in “The Sign and the Seal.”
Hope those bastards didn’t get it and 800 people were not slain.
