What did the shooting of Ashli Babbitt accomplish for the left?

What you should be asking is, if we were to assume that this event were staged, what did they WANT to get out of it? You are missing the possibility that the event failed to get the desired results.

If I had to make a guess, given what I would consider extremely fake-looking reactions to the shooting and fake-looking pleas outside the building afterward, I would say that the desired result was inflammation of the crowd into engaging in a REAL insurrection-type event. In other words, they WANTED the Trump supporters to run in screaming like banshees and tearing everything apart, but they didn't get it. Why would they want that? To justify martial law and gun confiscation, blamed on, of course, white supremacist terrorists, or some such thing.

All you have to do is look at how hard they have been pushing that white supremacy terrorist narrative since the event to see how BADLY they wanted to have such an excuse to really crack down on political opponents.

The level of hysteria they have been ginning up regarding "insurrectionists", which is laughable given the video of people walking within the velvet ropes and preventing people from breaking windows and such, is ridiculous and almost inexplicable, but imagine what they would have done with an actual large-scale violent riot at the Capitol.

They WANTED an insurrection, and when they didn't get it, they simply invented one.

What you should be asking is, if we were to assume that this event were staged, what did they WANT to get out of it?

To the left, what would actually shooting Babbitt not accomplish that faking it would? I think you’d agree that the left are void of morals, so why would they go through the incredible effort to stage the killing when actually killing Ashli would do the job even better and take away the risk of being caught staging the shooting? And do you think Ashli Babbit ,presuming you have read about her, would have played along?

Sorry but this whole line of thought is nuts and very possibly started by folks who either are trying to make the right look crazy or who make a living out out of ginning up conspiracy theories.
