LOL - good catch- bad writing obviously- unless he really did get injured by the rescue attempt- but i doubt it
****Woods, 45, suffered moderate to critical injuries after being pulled from his car,*****
only needed one word to make sense....’discovered’ after being pulled from the car.
Lazy writers!
It’s inevitable that comparisons will be made to golfing great Ben Hogan’s near-fatal car-crash and lengthy but successful recuperation—oh, wait, I just did.
This won't help his recovery from back surgery....
Hope he wasn't driving on pain meds.
If you attribute a high speed crash at 7 am to bad luck, maybe.
Didn't Jan and Dean sing about a road something like that? But I digress....
“He passed me at Doheny then I started swerve but I pulled her out and there I was a Dead Man’s curve”.
The second time I drove it, my wife was with me. Everytime my eyes veered off the road, she'd yell "watch the road!!!"
Would've been great if Forrest Gump kept running for another few hours, he could have stopped there.
Best wishes for Tiger.
I'd say that his life was saved by those airbags!
Prayers to Tiger....
Can anyone identify what type of vehicle this is ?
They’re not lazy, just stupid.
Can anyone identify what type of vehicle this is ?Wrecked.
Hyundai Genesis.
Looks like they cut open the windshield to get him out.
Apparently, it’s the new Genesis GV80 model.

Hyundai sponsors Woods’ invitational tournament that was just held at Riviera. This vehicle was likely a loaner related to that tournament.
Just speculating, but when you’re unfamiliar with a vehicle’s handling, dimensions, etc., an accident becomes a bit more likely. I personally damaged a rental car once because it was so much bigger than the vehicles I usually drive.
Lexus SUV is my best guess
Golf club through the windshield?
