Have you contacted the local PD about your observations? I'm certain they need to hear your analysis........Call them!
If I called my police department about my observations, I know they would laugh me off the phone and I would be the joke of the office for the day.
I have made some major mistakes in my observations. A big one is my estimate of the distance traveled by the sign. It traveled about the distance between the power poles, which I estimate to be around 100 feet. My time of travel was based upon the initial height of the sign. I estimated it to be about 5 feet. Upon closer examination, I think it was no higher than 4 feet. There is no way the sign could have traveled 100 feet in the time (.5 seconds) for it to fall to the ground. Tiger would have had to hit it at 136 mph!
