Nothing about that road looks overly steep, sharp or dangerous to me. Spoken by a flat earth Detroiter who has buggered about the back roads of Pennsylvania and upstate New York, spun three 360's on black ice on I-95 at 80+ MPH and lived. As well as Pikes Peak, broken down overnight on a frigid 12,000 ft pass in the Rocky's and found my way out of Yellowstone with 3 exits snowed under during August.

Nevertheless I'm pulling for Tiger Woods. I hope he can overcome this setback. He may or may not be better than Palmer or Nicolaus, but he perhaps more than those guys created a buzz about golf. To me (I hate it) his popularity shouldn't know his skin type, color, I don't care. He's a guy whose father groomed him to be PGA from birth and he's done a pretty good job of it, while fame is just that to so many young guys, He's worked at it.

A generation of golfers (including today’s PGA stars) got into the game because of Tiger. Tiger’s presence generates big $$$ via both in-person spectators and television ratings when he plays in tournaments over the past 20 years.
