Yes, cars don’t typically roll unless an attentive driver is jerking the wheel to avoid something that shouldn’t be in his lane.

The most common cause of a rollover accident is a driver losing control of a vehicle. Falling asleep at the wheel, using a phone, and other distracted driving all may cause a driver to lose focus and control.

Tiger has suffered multiple leg injuries and he is in surgery.

The roads in that part of LA - many parts of LA - often have incredibly steep declines immediately adjacent to the road surface. It’s often the case where you don’t have to travel far off the road to find yourself tumbling into a ravine. It literally happens several times a day in LA.
