...30 Bearwolf Rd, Columbus MT...

Yeah, I know that area.

West of Columbus (which is around 50 miles W of Billings) and South of Yellowstone River in a nice hilly area.

Only drawback is we had some bad fires in about that area about 6-7 years ago that left what some call Sierra Club Clearcut....might explain the price being a bit lower than I've seen for that kind of outfit.

Especially with all the CA/WA/OR escapees we've had the past six or eight months.

Nice place to live up here but don't buy ANYTHING sight unseen.

I hear people are doing just that. I’d have to see it in person before we’d buy. Just like my shopping, I have to see it, feel it, check it out. I’ve noticed the prices out there climbing right up. I hope they settle some by next year when kids will be looking to buy something. They rent the perfect place right now, but will outgrow it shortly w/another baby coming this summer.

Nice place and an amazing price. When I took my big relocation trip around the country, I definitely hit Montana, Idaho, Wyoming. And North Dakota. The main problem with those places is the lack of big acreage near a good-sized town. And as you get closer to the Big Town’s it gets Mighty expensive. So I had to look that place up on City-Data. It’s 36 miles to the next city with 50,000. Then the next biggest city is 200000, 450 miles away. There you go! Distance drops the price. Even here, the house we just sold would be worth about fifty thousand more if it was closer to town. And one of my reasons for moving is I wanted to get closer to town. Driving 45 minutes one way is annoying, especially when you want to go back twice in a day! I had to change churches because it was just too far. I’m getting older, I want to be near doctors. That would be really hard being out in the middle of nowhere in Idaho or North Dakota.
