I thought Maude was a very liberal feminist.
She was. And I think the Dorothy character was as well.
However, in my defense, I was watching Maude between the ages of 9-15. LOL I wasn’t thinking politics back then; I just liked her ‘don’t take no crap’ attitude. So in that way, she was probably an influence on me.
