I agree; I like it best when he’s walking and actually stops for a minute. I think he tends to zip down the Embassy Row houses because he’s been down them so many times.
I dug around on the ‘net, and I think those holes with sand are for aeration. I found a picture of a golf course where they had dug into the sod and had a cross section of the clay clearly showing the sand-filled hole. There’s no telling how many people walk across that grass in a year and compact it down, and we’ve already seen the sandbags they use to direct water flow in DC.
I couldn’t help but chuckle when he was going to through the station and commenting about how it’s packed with people during normal times. Just as we suspected!
That’s one of the things I enjoy about going to different places, even small town Illinois-looking at the architecture. I had to take a detour around my small downtown on Saturday; we really have a lot of interesting old buildings. But none of them are like the ‘painted ladies’ out west!
Whoops! Late breaking news...new fencing arrived at the White House tonight. DC man just finished a live stream. Will report in once I check it out!

President Biden has accepted the invitation of the Speaker of the House to address a Joint Session of Congress on April 28, the night before his 100th day in office, per WH
Are they doing this to keep American citizens away from OUR White House?
Or are they doing it to keep Joe from wandering into the streets?
.
Well maybe I should film this little ole town in Texas. Head southwest a few miles and film the illegal invasion.
OK fun fact. Here in the Concho River we have fresh water oyster pearls! Check out Paint Rock, the Indians camped there and told stories on the rocks. Its on private property but they give tours.
