First time I ever saw Bill Clinton, he spoke for Michael Dukakis at the DNC.
Allotted 15 minutes. The crowd wouldn’t let him have 5 minutes, but Clinton droned on and on.
The crowd started acting like a crowd at the Appollo theatre when an act goes bad.
That’s when I thought this guy is going to be something. Little did I know.
The only ones I can really remember from way back, was the 1988 DNC Convention when Ann Richards said ‘Poor George, he can’t help it; he was born with a silver foot in his mouth’. I can hear that drawl even now.
And that Obama spoke at the 2004 DNC convention. Have no clue what he said, but I remember the media slobbering all over him.
