This is a short video (8 minutes total) from the ‘man about town’ in DC from today.
Said he got a bunch of messages from people saying ‘something is going on at the WH, the livefeed is down, go see what’s happening!’.
At the beginning, the video shows the construction trailers have been removed from Lafayette Park in front of the WH, and they were cleaning up the leaves in the park. It was creating a lot of dust in the air!
About 2 minutes in, he’s left the WH and shows the statue of Admiral Farragut (’damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!’), the Mayflower Hotel (remember Eliot Spitzer?), St. Matthews Catholic Cathedral, some other buildings and a park. At about 4:00 he goes along Embassy Row, showing the buildings very quickly. Stop by VP’s house at 6:52, then continues with a few more embassies at 7:04 and back to his residence.
