Know some people that did this about 15 years ago and their “address” for taxes stayed in MD per the IRS,even they were living in their RV in FL. Talk to your tax person so you get the best in benefits.
This is true. I’ve heard of people changing their address to tax-advantaged states when they do the full-time rv thing, but I haven’t checked on the regulations for years.
Luckily for me, my last legal residence if I do the full-time thing is Tennessee and we’re state income-tax free! But I do need to check on current regulations...probably better to wait until closer to retirement time since the fools in DC could change those at any time.
