I’ve often thought of moving to the Appalachian Mountains somewhere. They always make me happy. I’ve considered around Asheville and of course Eastern TN. But would take Virginia or West Virginia!
Few years ago I went to Gatlinburg and visited around the arts & crafts area. I bought 4 pieces of art that are now in my bedroom.
Maybe I will end up there when I retire if the travel trailer idea won’t work.
When i was a kid we used to go to the Smokies. I remember the candy stores that made taffy, and the little bears coming right up to your car windows.
